    WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao thinks fans deserve to see him fight Floyd Mayweather, the WBC/WBA champion, and wants the unbeaten pound-for-pound king to confirm a May date by the end of this month, the Los Angeles Times reported on Monday.


    "We have to know soon because, if they will not fight, we can move on and choose another opponent," the Filipino superstar told the newspaper.

    Well I know two things.

    1. Everyone wants to see Floyd face Pac May 2nd and they expect to see it
    2. Floyd is now steering away and trying to get Cotto

            I've remained relatively quiet on this matter. But I will say this. I hope this is still hype and drama for an inevitable announcement soon. Many signs point to that being the case with so many inside voice saying it will happen.
            However, should Super Bowl come and go and we hear nothing from Mayweather then that will be an unfortunate thing. I want to hear the spin people will put on his silence at that point.
            My guess, they'll blame the networks.
            Possibly sad....quite sad.

              Announcement coming around the SuperBowl. When it does, I don't want people thinking that I'm with TMT.... I'm just a fan of boxing just like you.

                the only thing that stood out to me in this article is Mayweather choosing of the gloves for the fight, was hoping he would not get away with this **** with someone with more bargaining power than Maidana, no interest in the fight if this is the case just forget it and move on
