Why do Al Haymon fans get so mad when normal boxing fans are skeptical about the quality of fights Haymon will put on in the NBC deal?

Us normal boxing fans are skeptical about what is going to happen moving forward because of the quality of fights we got accustomed to watching on Showtime in 2014, and Haymon fans say "You're a hater! We'll be getting fights for free and you're still complaining!? Al Haymon is good for boxing!"

Idk, personally I'll reserve judgement on Haymon's plans until he's a few months into it.

The difference is, they are promoters - Haymon is supposed to be just a manager, yet the contracts fighters sign with him, gives him so much power.

He literally held the power over Deontay Wilder's decision whether or not to accept that great deal The Camel's new company was offering him.

Would have guaranteed hm like eight figures over the next 2-3 years.

Now if he actually is hiding a china chin, and gets sparked by Stiverne, he can kiss future million dollar fights goodbye for a while.

Also, because of Haymon, my HBO subscription had to support a boxing budget that saw a lot of it pissed away - as he got guys like Berto, and Dawson fights against old men, and journeymen. So much of their budget was wasted on no-talent hacks like these bums... When it coud have gone to supporting other great fights.


And while I think Arum is bad for the sport too, at least he does put on good fights moreso than Haymon. Donaire/Walters, Donaire/Rigo, Rios/Alvarado 1,2, and now 3, Bradley/Provo, Pac Marquez 4, Cotto/Martinez, Chavez/Martinez, Gamboa/Crawford...

Of course Arum puts on a lot better fights than Haymon... Haymon will have you beieve his guys "fight for the big money," when all they do is fight for the easy money.
