Espinoza and Haymon justified the Stevenson takeover by saying he's going to be rewarded Hopkins. It didn't materialize. Hopkins fought Kovalev, instead.

The Fonfara fight itself was hyped to the max. I didn't even know it was PPV. Apparently, it flopped miserably. Bottom line is all the silly promises they gave him didn't happen.

If Stevenson wanted a 7 figure payday, he should have fought Pascal.

Stevenson isn't making more fighting his past couple of opponents. Stevenson-Fonfara did under 700k. Kovalev got 1 million views fighting a no-name in Cedric Agnew. Kovalev-Hopkins drew 1.328 million views.

He got one against Dmitry Sukhotsky so it's not that much of a big deal that he didn't get the Hopkins fight is it?

If Stevenson really wants the big paydays and is NOT ducking Kovalev as you claim, then explain why he's planning a rematch against Fonfara, a fight which nobody wanted to see the first time.

            Meanwhile, Kovalev is fighting Pascal.

Hopkins is a better name for Kovalev than Stevenson's wins over shot Dawson, crude slugger Cloud, B-level Fonfara, and Euro-level Bellew and Sukhotsky.

No you didn't. You don't just recently find out about this site if you've been on any other one. We know who you are.

If Kovalev is so great then why doesn't he get paid like Stevenson?

Really dumb question. If Ggg is so great why doesnt he get paid like Chavez Jr? If Ward is so great why doesnt he get paid like Froch...

Ward got 7 figures against Rodriguez so I'm not sure what you are talking about, and the other two guys are not as good as you think they are.

I know the dangers of the sport. I am a recipient of what boxing can do. I don't hate or dislike Haymon but I disagree with you notion that Stevenson isn't fighting Kovalev for money. A Kovalev/Stevenson fight would bring more money and attention than the weak opposition he is up against.
