Comments Thread For: Khan: I Can Help Mayweather Become More Famous

Bolton fighter Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) has continued to react to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s recent jabs about "not being a big enough name." Khan is pushing to fight Mayweather on May 2nd of next year, but Mayweather recently said Khan's name doesn't carry "enough weight."

Khan believes he has a bigger name than Mayweather in certain countries and a fight between the two of them will only help Mayweather become a bigger name in those regions, similar to how Mayweather's fight with Ricky Hatton made him a bigger name in the UK.

Khan knows that the truth is actually vice versa. Floyd can help Khan get famous while Khan does absolutely nothing for Floyd. Khan simply sees Floyd as a stepping stone to getting more famous. I think khan isn't really interested in fighting the best, which can be clearly seen by his blatant ducking of Kell Brook, he only wants to fight the guys he thinks will make him more of a star.
