I question some of you so-called "fans of the sweet science" and how much you truly pay attention to the sport.
you know not all of us like boring 12 round fights,
if its a competitive 12 round fight fine fair enough,
but lets face it bundu was there to be taken out,
some of us are just frustrated,
doesnt mean we dont appreciate what he did in the ring

People love to talk about fighters schooling others, when they don't understand it's not about making the other fighter look bad but making yourself look good. Bundu looked like ****, but Thurman didn't look great either.
Bundu was taking all of Thurmans power punches, what was he supposed to do? If the guy isn't going down you're supposed to box. If the KO comes it comes, you don't chase if it's not there, every trainer will tell a fighter the same.

Not throwing many punches means you're in survival mode man. There weren't many openings for Thurman to exploit.

Btw it looks like Thurman vs Maidana will happen man.

          You nervous? I am!

what caught my attention is thurman saying the opposite, that bundu was fighting to not get KO'd and nothing else, like survival mode or something.

i don't know, the space broadcast interviewed chino and contursi and they were talking about khan, broner and garcia. they said thurman is not at that level yet (don't get mad at me, they words not mine) khan is a no imo, he looked good and he is fighting floyd next i guess. and the other 2 are difficult to maka. so who knows. maybe

That just goes to show you that you guys know nothing about Bundu. You guys underestimated him and just because he's proven to be tougher than you guys thought, you take your anger out on Thurman? Why can't you just give both fighters their props? Even if it was a boring fight, that has nothing to do with Thurman's performance because he did what he was suppose to do.

Khan is fighting Floyd next barring a miracle and there's no way Al is letting Broner get in the ring with Maidana again anytime soon. D.Garcia is possible but would they really throw him in with Maidana for his first fight at the full 147 limit? Doubt it.

I think Maidana or Guerrero is next for Thurman

yea i didnt quiet get that lol

even jim watt the british commentator said something along the lines of
'one thing we dont know about thurman is about his chin,
is bundu hurting thurman because thurman isnt letting his hands go'

He could clearly hurt the guy, he knocked him down in the first round, and the other guy wasn't running, it was Thurman moving all night long. Of course the KO won't present itself if you are not working for it, and Thurman clearly wasn't. Herrera, a guy with minimal power, was backing up Benavidez and working for the ko all night long, he wasn't going to get it, but he was fighting like he could. If Thurman did a third of what Herrera did I would guarantee there wouldn't have been any booing, he moved excessively that's all there is to it.
