    Top Rank promoter Bob Arum plans to meet with CBS/Showtime president Leslie Moonves on Tuesday to continue talks about a possible showdown before June of next year between “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao and undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.

    In a telephone conversation with krikya360.com/Manila Standard/Viva Sports hours before he was scheduled to return to the United States from Macau, Arum said he “hopes to make the Mayweather fight” and is ready “to give him ( Mayweather) a little time” to respond .

    Seems like a lot is going on without Floyd. Might wanna make sure he is on board before all of these discussions take place...ya know, since he is one of the principle characters in this whole thing

      A tv executive of the top 4 major networks wouldn't be involved unless floyd was on board. That's not how fortune 500 companies do business.

        Mayweather signed a bunch of power away by signing a contract. Showtime has to approve it. Of course Mayweather can refuse it sit out and make no money, but my point stands. If Showtime is smart they refuse any other fight.

          then they wont make any money off of floyd. so how is that smart?

            arum wants the mayweather fight now...he's convinced that pac can really defeat floyd after his boy dominated a "master boxer" LOL ....obviously this is their plan..they waited so long to get an old floyd to fight..very nice..just like what they did to shane mosley..

              All these will go smooth until they hear all of floyd's b1tchass demand like" pac needs to sign with mayweather promotions/arum cannot be involved", watch....hate to ruin it for everyone but we should know how that punk do business by now when it comes to this fight....
