Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza Dominates Michael Farenas Over Twelve

Coliseo Pedrín Zorrilla, Hato Rey, Puerto Rico - In his toughest test to date, IBO lightweight champion Jose Pedraza (19-0, 12KOs) dominated a very game Michael Farenas (39-5-4, 31KOs) over twelve rounds in a final IBF title eliminator. Pedraza landed the harder, crisper and more accurate punches all night. He outboxed and bloodied Farenas over both eyes. The Filipino warrior never stopped coming and was swinging for the fences all night long, hoping to land a homerun punch that never came. The scores were 117-111, 118-110 and 116-112.

Good for Pedraza. I hope he takes that I.B.F. strap from boring ass Barthelemy.

That's an impressive win over a tough journeyman like Farenas. Farenas battered Mark Davis, another young prospect, a few months back. I'm looking forward to Pedraza's next fight.
