Comments Thread For: Manager: Lomachenko Wants Walters, Possible in 2015

Featherweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko was ringside with his manager, Egis Klimas, when Nicholas Walters scored an impressive stoppage over Nonito Donaire and picked up a belt of his own at 126.

Lomachenko wants a bout with Walters, and he could end up getting it.

“Vasyl asked for that fight. He wants that fight, and Bob Arum said we could fight him sometime in the summer,” Klimas told krikya360.com on Nov. 7.

In a way it hasn't really even started yet...but a short answer, yes. Although with current western media coverage, you'd never know it!

Put them on the same card in Feb/Jan then have them fight in MAY/June. I just hope Bob doesn't turn this into another Gamboa/Juan Ma fiasco.

LOma is what boxing needs. And i think he wins an easy UD over Walters
