It would be interesting for Kov to take BHop into some seriously deep water, and it could very well happen, but the way I see it going down is BHop's usual punch n' grab, grab n' hold, head butt-a-thon boring UD... with the commentators all the while oohh-ing and ahhh-ing about how super human BHop is.

But still... damn wouldn't it be great to watch Kov drop BHop solid once or twice.

I can see the train of thought many of you are following here - Kovalev beat Cleverly easily, so Cleverly must have been a poor champion, and Krusher KOing him doesn't mean a thing.
But nobody has beaten Cleverly except for Kovalev, and nobody had ever floored him before, amateur or pro. So what if Cleverly was actually much better, and tougher, than you guys think he was?
That would make Krusher's blow out win over him a very impressive performance indeed, which is how I look at it. And that's why I think that, if he doesn't get cut, Kovalev will surely beat BHop.
This is true, Cleverly can certainly take a whack. He was sparring Chisora in preparation for the Kovalev fight and said he was certain he could take his power after a full blown heavyweight couldn't hurt him. So **** knows how hard Sergei punches.

The "curse" does not only manifests in the ring.

It also manifests through injury, managerial problems and other setbacks that stagnate or derail careers.

Pascal has done fine, If Ward goes to Roc Nation or anywhere else, his curse will be broken.

You're always saying, "Who has Kovalev fought?" whenever people downplay Hopkins's crappy competition lately. Every time I've told you exactly who Kovalev's crushed you disappear and ignore me.

How can Kov take someone into some deep water where he has never been?
