Comments Thread For: Yamanaka Too Much For Sor Rungvisai in 7th Title Defense

Shinsuke Yamanaka scored three knockdowns en route to a landslide decision over Thailand's Suriyan Sor Rungvisai in their bantamweight title fight Wednesday evening in Tokyo.

Sor Rungvisai, a former WBC 115 lb champion who was hoping to claim a world title in a second weight class, made most of the early running continually pressing forwards and looking to sneak straight right hands through the guard of the Japanese southpaw. [Click Here To Read More]

Yamanaka was at his fair fixing best after a slow start. 118 sucks balls though not much there since Moreno has lost

Yamanaka looked not that great today took a while and for Suriyan to slow down before he found his groove he has to be one of the leaders in terms of KD's scored over the last few years.

He said he wants to unify but with who is the question.

I want to see him vs Rodrigo Guerrero personally but we'll see.

Kameda out of the question... maybe. Tomoki in the U.S now and Yamanaka wants to fight there (at least that's the vibe I got when he was going there for training camp).

McDonnell maybe... they're bringing a Japanese guy and almost got Wake.

            IBF vacant

McDonnell isn't a real champion, Payano or Moreno whoever has that belt aint happening.

Caballero will whoop Hall and he's been to Japan but now with a belt and GB backing maybe not so eager.

I don't see anything really being available so there's Zhanat who's highly ranked and Guerrero silver champion I want Guerrero more than any of the other beltholders anyway.
