    Algieri earning at least $4.25 millifor Pacquiao fight**BANNED POST IN MASTER THREAD*

    It was published a while back that Algieri's promoter DeGuardia is going to pay him $1.5 million to fight Pacquiao.

    Just read today that in addition to the $1.5 Million DeGuardia is paying Aligieri, Bob Arum will also be paying Algieri $2.75 Million for a grand total of $4,250,000. That's a pretty good payday considering that his earnings for Provodnikov was at $100,000.

    Here's the quote from Bob Arum:

    "Manny's purse, from various sources, is guaranteed to be not less than $20 million," said Arum. "But what Chris is getting, that's up to his promoter, but I'm paying him $2.75 million."

            I dont think thats it. Probably Arum meant is heres the money, how much of that Chris sees is up to his promoter. Hopefully he doesnt take 1.25m

              Source? And u clearly misunderstand it. Arum is paying his promoter 2.75. What Algieri gets outta that is up to the deal with him and his promoter.
