Pedraza not good enough to take any contender lightly.

He's not getting protected and being fed patsies, like some others I can name. Farenas is no bum, I don't like that there is a hometown advantage, but Pedraza has been on the road too. Why put Pedraza down, but celebrate when Verdejo beats Pedraza left overs? 14 and 0, Olympic pedigree, but Verdejo is still learning. 18 and 0, road scholar, Pedraza is hunting giants.

I agree. His opposition has been solid throughout his career. Verdejo is slowly stepping up competition, but I really do feel Pedraza is ready to face the titleholders.

Farenas is world class, he went life and death with Gamboa and probably hits harder than Pedraza. This is a step into the big time for the winner, but Farenas has the rep and experience to give Pedraza trouble. Pedraza better not take him lightly. This is as good a matchup as some recent title fights.

Very simply Verdejo is a world class prospect while Pedraza isnt imo. Nothing personal just dont think he that good of a fighter.

This is a dangerous fight for Pedraza. Farenas is world class and has underrated boxing ability, is tough as nails, and hits really hard. Pedraza likes to hold his left hand low, if Farenas lands a few of those sneaky over hand rights on the inside he could make it a hard night for Sniper. Should be a good fight while it lasts though.
