Couldn't have said it better. Sound bytes are the only language people have tolerated for a long time now. They don't have patience in listening to long-winded explanations. Political operatives can't even say a few sentences without getting interrupted by a party rival. Same thing with the audience. All they wanna hear are sound bytes, "Floyd ducked the fight," "He got scared..." They won't bother with long stories that led to it. That's what's in store for Floyd when he retires.
