HBO is showing MUCH better fight cards than the garbage we've been seeing on Showtime.

You really think so? I feel like Showtime has had the better fights over the past year or two. I love watching Golovkin but this is just going to be a complete blow out. Rubio is getting knocked out early.

I expect the first 2-3 rounds to be exciting, Rubio doesn't hit as hard as Stevens, probably more along the line of Rosado, who was able to mark Golovkin up b/c Golovkin didn't respect his power. I didn't think Geale or Macklin would offer much resistance (one reason I never wanted to see the overrated Martin Murray in the ring with Golovkin, he'd be a complete sitting duck).

Steve Kim interviewed Loeffler last week, Tom mentioned they want 4 fights next year and sounds like the next would be back in Monte Carlo Feb/Mar. Don't think the Korobov/Lee winner will be ready (or if Saunders/Eubank will be mando). Any rate it sounds like another typical GGG opponent situation with no real challenging fights on the horizon. N'Dam will sit and wait for Quillin to kill Taylor. Murray seems logical with it being in Monte Carlo, but I'd rather see Murray (WBC Silver) fight Macklin who has a WBC eliminator and the winner of that fight the Saunders/Eubank/Korobov group.

I think GGG will stop Rubio around the 5th round but I will be pulling for Rubio. I will hope that Rubio can hurt GGG with a punch and put him down.
