This fight has to happen. It should be on the Cinco de Mayo PPV undercard. I think the budget would be there to pay both men handsomely. Plus, the extra attention they would receive would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. It makes too much sense imo.

at the bold. Like the disadvantage he had when Francisco Rodriguez Jr. moved up two divisions to fight him? Or like the disadvantage he had when Juan Francisco Estrada moved down a division to fight him?

Not to mention that the stoppage in the Rodriguez Jr. fight was one of the worst stoppages I've ever seen.

Nothing wrong with trying to get paid. Especially, since it is the biggest fight that can be made at the weight.

I have no problem with him trying to get paid. He deserves it. He's one of the best fighters in the world.

But saying he wants a million dollars or there won't be a rematch is pretty much saying he doesn't want the rematch.

We all know it's a very long shot that anybody comes up with $1M+ for a Flyweight fight.

One million? We have to be realistic here for a second, if it were up to me I'd give him the damn money in a heartbeat but on the real world most people are missing out on these smaller divisions. So there's not a lot of audience to promote the fight to.

I doubt he's getting 1m, no one beside a small group of people really care about the fight. Damn it if he's serious about that the fight is not gonna happen.
