Why are so many ****ting on this fight? Yeah - of course there's other guys that would have been better.
But history is littered with young, undefeated, top-10 contenders (and he's absolutely a top 10 contender at his weight), getting their shot at "the man" in boxing.
I mean, only world class boxers beat Provo, and they have to go lfe and death (literally in Bradley's case, and really for El Maestro too) with him to win?!?
And the shutout (he literally won every round pretty clearly) against Taylor looks a beaut now as well - after he came a round or two from beating the overrated, but still world level boxer in Broner...
And at least the style dynamic is different than the typical heavy handed, flat-footed, slow, one-gear forward brawlers lke Maidana... In the past, Pac got **** on for never fghtng fleet-footed slick boxers. Algieri isn't Rigo slck, no, but he's definitely a fairly fleet-footed boxer wth just enough pop to keep u honest...
LOL it''s not even close to the "Garcia/Salka" farce...
