Some even said the fastest hands in history, this guy has speed but it is very overrated.

Similar to Malignaggi and Calzaghe he throws pitty pat punches with very little extension that look pretty but have very little efficacy.

True elite speed is like Pac/Floyd. Those two extend on their blistering fast combinations, I would even rate Canelo's speed as better/more effective than GRJ's because he extends and gets leverage on those fast combos.

Broner also has faster hands than him, as does George Groves.

I said it right after the lomachenko fight dude had shoe shine speed those are show flashy but useless punches since they have no power in them, Loma had better speed than Russell he was getting power on his shots.

Russell speed is overrated, he doesn't have the vicious power speed combo that Pac and Zab Judah had in their primes.

Canelo is good to watch when he lets his hands go during his head and body combos. He's too lazy though, that's the price you pay when you carry so much muscle and you don't have equivalent stamina.
