Comments Thread For: Kelly Pavlik Pleads Guilty To Driving Drunk

Kelly Pavlik pleaded guilty earlier this week to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated for an incident dating back to last December, according to the Youngstown (Ohio) Vindicator.

He was sentenced to 12 months of probation, must pay court costs, and must choose between spending three days in jail or instead taking part in a three-day intervention program for people who drove drunk.

Pavlik should get himself together. Hate to see him go through that.

              That's too bad.

He was a fun fighter to watch. not the most physically gifted in terms of speed and reflexes, but he hit hard and had a good workrate. He had a pretty nice variety in his arsenal. Throwing uppercuts off the hook, for instance.

I'm not surprised though. Back when he got out of rehab, he seemed like he was in denial. A couple of writers said the same thing.
