You are truly obsessed with FMJ, why? Are you using a double-standard? At the end of your 1st paragraph you stated Martinez called out Pac and FMJ but Mayweather is the not considered an ATG because he didnt accept the challenge. What about PAC? Would PAC take the fight if Martinez said 150?

Pac fought one time at a 150 catch weight and didn't even make 147 lol..if you can't even weigh-in above the weight division below the one you are fighting in you don't belong in it..

Mayweather has fought in the 154 division on multiple occasions...even fighting Cotto and De La Hoya at the full weight limit...Martinez challenged Mayweather at 154...when Martinez was ranked 3rd pound for pound and Mayweather was 2 behind Pacquiao...Mayweather never seriously considered the fight... Bottom line is this isn't the same Martinez...he's been dropped and hurt...he doesn't get away from punches as well...and he just looks old now body wise...a prime Martinez would win no doubt in my mind...but this Martinez is very beatable...I think Cotto needs to press the action and go to the body...Cotto should be able to take punches better with the extra weight as well...I think it's a 50/50 because Martinez is bit past his prime at this prime physically...Cotto is still physically fine although he's taken a few beatings himself...

YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY, Roach is on point with this comment. It wasn't tht Pavlik tried to out muscle Martinez he never tried to u morons ! Pavlik got out boxed and couldn't hit Martinez. Martinez is not an inside fighter he prefers to dance on the outside and punish u, therefore Cotto getting inside often and working his body and pushing him around would be an uncomfortable fight for him. lets be real , Martinez has not had a quality opponent in a while and Chavez cant box to save his life and still caught him late, Cotto is gonna touch Martinez a lot cuz speed doesn't beat Cotto and Cotts jab will be effective as well , should be a great fight !

LOL. You just start watching boxing. He didn't duck Marg! Let me give you a history lesson on that subject. He moved up and fought Mitchell. Fought Judah because they had already signed contract and Judah was still considered IBF champ. Then he fought Baldy who was the recognized champ at 147. Arum offered him 8million to fight Marg if he signed a contract extension. FMJ opted out of his contract by paying Arum $750,000. Then he fought Oscar at 154. What have you seen about Marg that makes him so scary besides loaded hand wraps.

If you read it carefully what he said you wouldn't be this mad. Pacquaio fought once above 147, and he said he will never fight above that weight anymore, whereas your boi fought there more than once. Once in a while you have to take a breather from down there and you'll have a clearer vision and clearer mind. SMDH

Uhm, Roach is off the mark on this one. Cotto is way smaller and if Kelly Pavlik barely was able to out muscle Martinez and he was huge at MW.

If Cotto wins, it's not going to be by being physical like that.

What good is it for Pavlik to be huge if he can't box? Cotto is a great all around boxer and will use angles to get inside. Please don't ever compare Pavlik to cotto ever everrr again
