Mayweather was hoping bradley would put paquiao out of his misery in their much anticipated rematch, only to awake to the fans' desire to see each respective fighters go toe to toe in a boxing ring. Manny pacquiao is a true legend for coming back out of a short-lived retirement to score two consecutive wins over rios and previously undefeated champion timothy bradley.

ok I read ten pages and had to stop. To me I think this cold war is in the best interest of boxing in general. I truly believe Floyd doesn't want to put any money in arum's pocket, but other than that these conversations keep boxing somewhat relevant. We goad each other into arguments because we both have a legitimate side (we feel) to pick.

They're both selling high ppv's so you know that the fight will still clamor casuals and truly they are the only 2 crossover stars really left. I don't know if it's been agreed upon, but I feel that not fighting is doing a service for these kids on undercards. Canelo is up and coming making a name for himself and I'm sure they wanna make ggg into the next ivan drago.

Throughout history there has been stars in multiple classes, but the klitschko's didn't really draw U.S. casual fans. Rigo ain't gonna crossover (even though I love his game), Ward hasn't done it to this point, and the stars to make this an every month mega fight industry just aren't there though the talent may be. I see this as simply the bridge to the next generation. If he was smart the bronze bomber would become more menacing in behavior he has the most potential to garner potential fans, but the talent remains to be seen.

Floyd beat Cotto @154, Pac wanted to drain him down to welter for a potential rematch. Mayweather gave up 15lbs to Canelo, while Pac fights guys who have no business at welter, or who can't punch at the weight. They claim that Floyd is ducking GGG or Martinez (who are much bigger than him), yet their hero won't even entertain the thought of fighting a legitimate welter. Lol
