There certainly is a middle ground between being a hater and calling someone top 3 of all time, is there not? Why do u assume that he is telling the truth now, but not then? Because it fits your agenda? Not to mention, he tries to make it seem like Floyd hasn't moved up a lot in his career or taken risks, which is absolute lunacy.

I'm confused... doesn't sound like he's talking about Mayweather here. Could be anyone. From Ward, Rigo, Bradley to Golovkin. Hopkins has never been shy about talking mentioning Mayweather's name in the past. So this could be him throwing shots at a whole heap of people.

Floyd has gone up in weight but to be honest he hasn't really taken risks since fighting Oscar really. He's played it pretty safe, really since Castillo.

B hop has a way about him that even without directly calling someone out you have a sense of who he is talking about.

thats a pretty crap opinion, honestly. most of the guys floyd as fought in the last 5 years would be risks for any other fighter in the world. u guys really dont understand how out of touch with boxing reality u are when u say crap like this.

B-hop raises some good points .... But what he's stating can be applied to all boxers, not just to those who proclaim greatness.

Another point, and it should be noted that both B-hop & ODLH have long held some serious jealousy towards Floyd. So, B-hop's comments should be taken with a grain of salt, whenever directed at Floyd.

Remember, after the Canelo fight B-hop was trying to get in line for a Floyd fight -- Where were these statements then???

My question would be-how is it that floyd's fights where he is a huge favorite are any different from any other fights where a fighte is a huge favorite?

If floyd is 3-1 and tim (example) is 3-1 favorites-aren't they fighting equally difficult fights, regardless of opponent style.
