Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is just weeks away from his showdown with tough Mexican rival Alfredo “Perro” Angulo as he will try and bounce back from his defeat last September at the hands of the sport’s number one pound for pound fighter Floyd Mayweather.
Alvarez was the 45th victim to fall to Mayweather who boasts an undefeated record of 45-0 and only has 4 more fights left in both his Showtime contract and likely his boxing career. Mayweather is set to fight again on May 3rd against WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana, and Canelo’s manager/trainer Jose “Chepo” Reynoso feels the Argentine fighter will be unable to crack the “Mayvinci” code.
