Mosley had a bigger right hand.

And power means nothing if you can't land it.

Even Amir Khan took multiple overhand rights from Maidana and never went down.

Besides, Maidana softened up Victor Ortiz for Mayweather. Mayweather fought Maidana's leftovers.
I guess Kotelnik, Khan and Alexander has softened up Maidana for Floyd.

Floyd feasting on leftovers yet again.

There's a lot of Maidana fans and non-fans alike scared about Maidana facing Floyd.

No mention that Maidana is a live opponent coming off a spectacular win at 147 and holds a title belt at the same time.

Well Done Mayweather for choosing Maidana, you made the right choice for yourself and the fans. You obviously keep getting called a Ducker, so its good to see you take on a Challenge, rather than chinny khan, which really was a no win situation. You knock Khan out, it was too easy, you beat khan and the finger will always be pointed at you for not fighting Maidana.

Forget what Khan sprouts out, his followers and entourage are just looking for that payday, I reckon deep down they know khan would get destroyed in their too easy, so it's lets make money and then move on...

Just like khans idol, naseem hamid, they were both big mouths with glass chins, nuff said.

Maidana has a soft body, but Floyd ain't a body puncher.

And as always Floyd will box safety first not committing to his punches unless Maidana is completely gone.

reading some of the posts, do some of you really think Maidana can beat Floyd? I know nothings impossible but it would be one of the greatest upsets of all time if he pulled it off.I just cannot see how he wins I mean Floyd seems to have a decent chin on him so its highly unlikely he knocks him out imo

still rather Maidana than that glass neck amir con

                      Wrong!

Mosley does indeed have a big right hand but not a bigger right hand than Marcos Maidana.

I have studied tape on Shane Mosley and Marcos Maidana -- two of my favorite sluggers.

Mosley has a big right hand if he lands it on the button.

On the other hand, Maidana has a big right hand, period. Chino does not have to land clean to wobble an opponent.

Maidana wobbles Adrien Broner with an awkward right hand to the side of the head.

Maidana rocks Josesito Lopez so badly with a right hand he turns his back to Maidana. How often do you see that happen?

Maidana knocks down Victor Cayo with an awkward left hook to the side of the head.

These punches are by design. Maidana knows very well what he's doing. His style may not be pretty, but he is effective, i.e. he finds a way to land punches on his opponent. And that's what boxing is all about.

In a film study video Barry Robinson of A Million Styles Boxing emphasized,

"Maidana is not just some psycho power guy."

Maidana punches freakishly hard. His opponents react to his punches as if they got hit with a baseball bat. They have a look of surprise like "What the **** did you hit me with?!"
