I like watching Rigondeaux fight. Its like watching your favorite southpaw pitcher against a hard hitting lineup and pitching a complete shut out. Watching Wlad fight is like watching grass grow.

Rigo is fun to watch-- a true master of the sweet science.

wlad is boring because he has 0 aggression and fights like a very scared beginner. And then comes the holding / leaning....

That said, I appreciate the way GR fights and don't understand all the hate for him as he's a true master.

People need to realize also that Wlad is a true master and need to understand what they are seeing.

When Wlad holds it's boring. When Bhop does it, it's pugilistic mastery.

            That's just not fair.
Not at all - you're looking at percentage.

Most of those KOs were late in fights after he leaned and bear hugged opponents all night (how many KOs under 3 rounds vs elite fighters?)....I would say his best performance was the first Sam Peter fight, which was probably his last exciting fight before he became a pervert in the ring.

BHop has his moments but his last fight was pretty active against a so-so opponent....Wlad can't even make a mismatch exciting.

Wlad is a HEAVYWEIGHT fighting heavyweights and making it utterly boring. Rigo wan't to fight the biggest names available to him, Vlad want's to fight the biggest European undefeated bums with padded records. Rigo's boxing skill and accumen allow him to stay untouched as his opponents can't find his chin to land punches while Wlad hugs his opponents so they cannot throw punches to hit him with.

BUT, Wlad is chinny, and that alone makes for excitement. I tune in EVERY fight with the anticipation that someone will plank him. Still though, it's not enough to call him exciting by any means.

I gotta go with Guillermo "I retired Donaire" Rigondeaux

rigo and its not even close. all wlad does is clinch his opponents, who by the way are usually a fair bit smaller than himself. i forgot who his last fight was against but the clinching was a joke.

rigo actually has skills, he doesnt clinch you to death, he makes you miss and then makes you pay. BIG DIFFERENCE.

                      How are people picking Wlad.

"He has 50+ devastating KOs doe"
I'll tell you how 90+% of those KOs happened. Jab jab jab jab jab clinch, jab jab straight right, dude wobbles, jab, straight, down.

The rest are against dudes that move more and try to get on the inside, he jabs jabs jabs clinches and leans, ref breaks it up jabs and times another clinch does that for about 8rds then he throws a short uppercut that lands on a dead tired man that is coming in. He hurts him and proceeds to throw a 1-2 dropping him once or twice ending the fight.

I would imagine if Rigondeaux was 40lbs heavier than his opponent he would have more KOs.
