What is your favorite kind of boxing match to watch?

Personally I enjoy watching a tough, strong, skilled brawler/puncher slowly but surely chip away at a technical boxer who is less strong, a little less tough, and likes to operate from the outside.

I love seeing the puncher get closer each round by making a little adjustments as the fight goes on.

    Eventually, hurting the boxer.

Then, urgency in the boxer's face and body language.

    No way out.

    KO.

What say you? All posters welcomed.

    For e.g.,

    Broner-Maidana

    Ortiz-Maidana

    Mickey Bey vs John Molina

Julio Ceasar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor

    Chavez vs Roger Mayweather

    Marciano-Walcott 2

    Maidana-Lopez

    Ali-Shavers

Some of Kostya Tsyzu's fights, too.

Basically, the few times a puncher KO's the cute boxer.

...and potentially Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana, if Mayweather takes that risk.

Maidana would have a legitimate puncher's chance against Mayweather. *Even Shane Mosley says Mayweather fighting Maidana could result in Floyd getting stopped.

Come forward fighters with good chins who do not hold and who put it on the line.

I don't like fighters when they hold like Wlad v Povetkin or when they spend the whole night back-pedalling e.g. Dirrell v Froch.

That's not something I want to watch.

I wish every Saturday night was Ward vs Gatti, Corrales vs Castillo or Barrera vs Morales. I have watched these fights enough times to recite the commentary.

                Too right man...I agree.

I like all kinds of fights, boxer vs brawler, brawler vs brawler, boxer vs boxer...etc...
But I agree, those where fan friendly fights that we want to see most in general.

Inside fighting. Two guys who do everything you can ask of the sweet science at the closest possible range. Duck, weave, counter, body punching, it's fantastic.

i like to see skilled, talented guys at the top in tough.

boxing matches are made exponentially more exciting when there's fight changing damage being handed out. this is the only sport that lets you end the fight with a 50 run homer in the 12th inning [round.]

great contrasts in style, or two aggressors can often make for exciting fights, but that's not always the case.

                    contact makes fights.
