Does anybody watch espndeportes? Nacion espn (espns Spanish version of sportsnation), a los golpes hosted by chavez Sr, benardo osuna, and David faitelson, or golpe a golpe espn deportes boxing show hosted by Jorge Eduardo sanchez and Juan Manuel marquez? If so you would know they have a history of being over critical and talking down his achievements. You would also know that angulo is a favorite of theirs to have on often. Angulo has been clear that he has not been overly impressed with canelo. He's been critical of his level competition, the preferential treatment he has received from goldenboy, and how he is not as great as he may be perceived. This is no lie, and I can see where Canelo might be a bit bitter towards angulo.

For all the people complaining about this fight because they wanted Lara btw...it seems like you all forget how Angulo put Lara down again and again and was really getting to him, he eventually took a perfectly placed shot that ****ed up his eye but they both got their licks in that fight and didn't do much to set themselves apart. Lara deserves the fight too but this aint such a bad little fight either

FAILED!
I don't care if their mommas hate each other... this is not a PPV matchup at all. Again, this is a horrible new model they are trying to force onto us where most "decent" fights (which usually ended up on HBO BAD / SHOBOXING) end up on PPV.
We CANNOT accept this and we have to stand united thru this. They attempted it with Maidana-Broner and they are trying their luck again.
This is horrible for us fans and the sport. How will you try to sell me the PPV that features a guy who just got outclassed in embarrassing fashion against another non-PPV fighter who ALSO lost his last bout? Do you guys get how horrible this is?
This is a no-no. Let's keep things fair, treat the fans right and they will respond when the right fights do end up on PPV.
