churches in massachusetts aren't required to allow gay people to marry, but many of them do.
i'm led to believe that most of the gay marriages in MA are performed by the state, and not in churches. the marriages are binding, though, and do include all of the rights and benefits that come with being married.
four or five of every 100 marriages in massachusetts are same *** marriages.
