I've seen the video, but I'm not sure if Ariza was just cupping the towel for Marcos to clear his nose, or he had rubbed/put salts into it off-camera beforehand, for Marcos to breathe in. I've never seen salts, so I wouldn't know if they would visibly stand out from a white towel, but I couldn't clearly see anything in the towel. Did look su****ious, as Marcos didn't have a bleeding nose.

I hate to say it, but it definitely looks fūcking weird. Ariza is a piece of shít, so it wouldn't surprise me.

This has to be the funniest/dumbest thing I've seen from you since you were making all those racist remarks about argentinians.

You can't really tell what's on there, if anything, but it does look weird. It could have been that Maidana was simply blowing his nose but fighters aren't supposed to do that because of swelling.

If it was smelling salts, pretty ****** because Maidana certainly didn't look like he needed it. Broner couldn't do shit.

LOL Broner fans are taking it hard!

                Maidana is what really happened!

I think Maidana was a little stunned by the punch after the bell. If I remember correctly, he even walked it off for a few seconds before even sitting down in the corner, and Garcia was yelling at Cole pretty loudly to "be fair". I think they sensed he might be a little buzzed.

Would be a real shame. Ariza is such a snake, there's no telling what he might do. You would think that after Rios got caught he would be extra careful and not risk being caught giving his fighter smelling salts on live TV the next day though.

Still, in reality, Broner got his ass kicked anyway, and it's hard to imagine what Broner could've even done in round 12 even if Maidana was truly buzzed going in. He's notoriously resilient and Broner would need a KO or multiple KD's in round 12 to win him the fight, so I think it's safe to say that Maidana was going to win even if Ariza did some shady shít. Not excusing him though.

Don't know what it is, but if its smelling salts pretty common in sports. Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Carlos Boozer, and Tom Brady are notable athletes who have used them during games.
