Anthony Mundine says he hopes his aborted fight with "Sugar" Shane Mosley can be resurrected later in the year after the American boxing legend walked out hours before the weigh in.

Mosley flew home on Tuesday with his management claiming promoter Vlad Wharton had breached their contract by failing to pay his $1 million fee in full ahead of Wednesday's scheduled light-middleweight bout in Sydney.

A "devastated" Mundine said his manager Khoder Nasser would talk to Mosley's representatives at Golden Boy Promotions in a bid to save the fight, possibly in December.

You don't jack around a Hall of Famer like that. At least Shane got paid $300,000 to workout and spar a little. These clowns Mundine is tied to are amateurs, have no money, BS a guy right up until the week before, and you can't pay the guy????? They shouldn't get a second chance to get knocked out by Mosley. Think about it..... what lousy business men they are... deposit $300K into Mosley's account, and promise to pay the balance of $700K the week of the fight, OR risk losing the $300K. So they not only didn't have the $700K, but the $300K they DID have, they just lost, so now they are without that! You just blew $300K... you obviously are short on funds, yet you risked what you had.... threw $300K away..... Brilliant. You shouldn't be allowed to promote Boxing.

Shane should demand the total amount be deposited in his account upfront if the fight does happen. Heck, Team Mundine just threw away over a quarter mil. Know Team Mundine may have to pay even more to secure a fight with Shane. Mundine needs a new manager.
