Comments Thread For: Jessie Vargas on facing Ray Narth, wants Marquez next

krikya360.com recently spoke to welterweight contender Jessie Vargas (22-0) who returns to the ring against Ray Narth (26-3) in the main event of a special Friday edition of UniMas' Solo Boxeo series at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Vargas last fought in March when he defeated Wale Omotoso via unanimous decision in Carson, CA. He said that he is happy to be back in action and plans on putting on a great performance.

"I am happy to be returning to the ring. I am very excited. I just can't get wait to get back in the ring and put on a show for the fans. It should be action packed.

    Oh yeah, that's realistic

JMM is the logical next step after Narth.

This guy would be lucky to get tv time on a Marquez undercard.

At this stage of Jesse's career he would be lucky if he could be Marquez' sparring partner. Jesse is the great unknown. His career may never blossom.

If I were him, I'd ask every person I see to kick me in the balls for being ****** enough to leave TMT to go to Top Rank. The guy was getting prime undercard slots, soon he will be lucky to get on ESPN.

Jesse should just focus on the fight he has coming up.

                I forgot this guy existed.

After the TMT/Money Team fallout, I thought he'd come out smelling like a rose by signing with Top Rank.

What happened? He could have been the next Mike Jones, man.

Vargas has plateaued, he looks as crappy from one fight to the next and Top Rank knows that so they wont put him in with anyone half decent
