Crying "hater" is like a kid crying for ice cream...its the easiest, laziest reply to substantiated criticism.

If some idiot says Floyd cant fight and runs, then you can cry hater because that is dumb hate. If a person lays out a case why Floyd may not have the resume to support his sublime skill you have to deal with it.

Does Floyd deserve "hate?" No he doesnt. Does he deserve criticism? Absolutely.

      Learn the difference.

If these fights were so diesel the names alone would be stand by themselves. You wouldnt need to add ketchup to make them taste better.

When we talk about SRL's resume, the only thing you need to write are the names. You dont need to say Duran was the #1 WW and LW champ. Or that Hearns was a blah blah... you just write HEARNS, HAGLER, DURAN, BENITEZ, NORRIS, etc.

        see the difference?

very good points. but I would hope you as an objective person who has no problem with fair criticism would point out not only the things you support but the things that are not true.

names alone do not make the entire case,i am pointing out where the fighters were when Floyd fought them, they were on top of their divisions and champions. that makes a huge difference

Manny and are Kotyzu are the only two fighters who will make the HOF out of the list people claim Floyd ducked chew on that for a second.

Pacman at his peak (2009) vs floyd would have been the greatest fight of all time.
For several reasons, floyd dos seem invinsible, but Pac at that time was freak of nature, a rare fysical human force that even Floyd would have trouble taming

Unfortunaly Pac`s greatness was his unhuman fysic, without that he is like ironman without his suit.

You can make excuse for maybe one, at the very most 2 fights not being made, but Floyd has avoided many more top fighters than just a couple.

He also has fought a lot of his big names on his record with the were on the downward slope or well past their prime.

This will be apart of Floyd's legacy, no matter how much some might try and hide it.

The stuff on boxing forums will not be remembered it is the stuff on is written in print by well respected authors that future generation will look back on to judge fighters.
