Gimnasio San Juan de la Barrera, Mexico City, Mexico - WBC junior flyweight champion Adrian Hernandez (28-2-1, 17 KOs) suffered an early scare when he was dropped in the first round. He shook the knockdown off and came back with a fury as the fight played out. Japan's Atsushi Kakutani (13-4-1, 6 KOs) was punished and then battered in the fourth round. Hernandez knocked him down three times before the referee waved off the contest.

Saw this on Televisa & what a war...good right put Hernandez down, (but the guy is so always terribly open how long his career goes w/his style 1 can't say) but he got up & 4 next 2 rounds they xchanged hard blows, Kakutani more 2 the body till the champ xploded w/the 3 knockdowns in the 4th...AND Kakutani is not SW, Jr FW...
