Barrera is a rich man who doesn't see the point in fighting a guy he can't beat. History will not scream as loud that he ducked a Pacquiao rematch as it will scream a second painfully embarrassing stoppage. Barrera is a wise man who knows what hes doing. Pac has said he wants his next fight in his homeland. You really think they can get a March 25 fight set up in the Phillipines? They can't.

barrera could not have fought morales or pacman on march 25th, it would not have been possible for either morales or pacman to fight then after fightin on january 21st, hell goldenboy, top rank and manny pacquiaos peoples wouldnt have had anytime to negotiate anything, yet you still expected the fight to go ahead on march 25th?? so you expect pacman or morales to rest for about 1 week and then go straight back to another grueling 2 month training camp??? barrera was gonna fight chavez before morales or pacman again, there was talk of this fight before barrera even talked about pacman or morales.
