If Mayorga was marketable after those sham wins over Forrest, then Rigo can be marketed.

I really am shocked to hear HBO has lost touch with reality. Who wants to see a loser fight another has been. Donaire is the real guppy because in his heart he knows he was dismantled. Why in the world was he a P4P rankee in the first place. Arum is as biased a promoter as it gets. Donaire got outlawed but he also got beat up pretty bad. I know Donaire knew and didn't believe his own hype. Arum promoted very for sees but now is turning into Don King. HBO should have a guy that they can mandate zRigo to fight or just admit he's that good.

mmm if you still put him on undercards???? i seen far more boring outmatched opponents on hbo undercards. How would rigo affect that from the main event?

          Merchants a bum

This guy entertains whom? He takes forever to finish a sentence. Hes a hundred years old . Hes not witty why does he have a job? Hbo is full of ****. Merchant is a bum and that so called translater makes **** up. Im positive somebody way up the hbo ladder will be firing people real soon. I guess those of us that follow boxing should switch to showtime or UFC so we can follow the wise merchant . I hope him and arum are on the same plane and it goes down

I agree you have to be entertainment but it's a double standard considering how HBO is riding Ward's nuts. Also I would say Donaire was more boring in that fight, Rigo was throwing and landing while Donaire was posing the whole time.

hbo did the same thing with floyd.

hbo is getting rid of boring fighters and getting tired of ppv consumers asking back the money they spent watching fraud run the whole 12 rounds.

its a business decision that hbo needs to do to make paying customers happy and satisfied.

People don't even hate Rigo so they'd tune in to watch him lose, like with Floyd. They just don't care!
