I think this may end up being the logical choice. The last I read, Mares and Santa Cruz would be on a separate night. There aren't many other good options after that. I don't want to see Ishe vs. Molina on this card. Maybe they put Victor Ortiz on the undercard (maybe against Ghost).

Maybe Maidana vs Broner, Ortiz vs the ghost, Mares vs Johnny Gonzalez

I've got a Mayweather-hating thread on the front page right now so my post is gonna come off as yet more bitterness.....but keeping it real: I would hate for this fight to be an undercard fight.

It needs to be a separate event in its own right, with its own undercard and build-up. I mean, this is, IMHO, the fight I would most like to see in boxing right now, a phenomenal fight.

It needs an event geared solely to it.

We don't need two huge events merged into one. I would rather two separate events with mediocre undercards than 1 huge one, where Danny and Lucas are fighting it out in front a crowd there to see Canelo and Floyd.
