theres a big reason canelo's not top 10 p4p, is simply because he's a big name with no real boxing skills.

Agreed, I think that Lee was the equivalent to Trout. Not a particularly great fighter, just a good fighter with a few decent wins.

Canelo claims he's going to try and play chess with Floyd. If he does so he'll end up like the others. Floyd specializes in confusing his opponents to the point of despair. Many of them give up before the fight is over. Floyd "has no rhythm" - his words. That means Canelo is going to be a very confused boy by the third or fourth round. I'll have my pillow and blanket on hand in case I need to catch a nap during the mid rounds...

No but triangles theories never work. Trout is huge, in his 1st division and is Southpaw. Floyd is small, in his 5th division, and is orthodox. Don't sleep on that. Not to mentioned how much older Floyd is than Trout

Guerrero and Cotto won 3 rounds against Mayweather. Canelo is 2 inches taller and has 3½ inches more reach than Cotto and is fresher too. Canelo is just an all-round better fighter than Guerrero, and has a slight height and reach advantage over him too.

Based on this, I expect Canelo to win about 5 rounds. He might even pull off the upset.

i dont know how floyd is gonna manage to keep canelo off him well at least for the full 12 rds. If this fight reminds me of anything is how important is to pressure technical fighters kinda like what mares did with anselmo moreno or what darchinyan did to mijares.

He won't have to. Gasnelo doesn't apply that level of pressure

What's interesting is how will Alvarez react when Floyd hits him in the body causing him to gas
