I've watched the fight 3 times already not including watching it live at the arena and IMO there's no way Kessler won more than 4 rounds, I actually had it the same as Lederman on HBO. It was competitive put Froch controlled the distance, and fought at a pace Kessler couldn't match, and I thought Froch won most of the exchanges.

As for Hunter, there's something about him that I really don't like, he's a bit like Brother Nasim in that he likes the sound of his own voice and thinks he's some sort of sensei instead of a trainer with the way he talks in metaphors and sounds like he's doped up on Prozac.

I think this current version of Froch could well beat Ward if he fights at the same pace he's been fight at for the last 12 months. Ward clearly won the first fight but Froch came on strong in the later rounds and could well have stopped Ward if he put his foot down a couple of rounds earlier.

I'd like to see what's left of Ward after the surgery...
He's an inverted southpaw whom Hunter forced to fight one handed all his career...

i had it 116-112 froch but rds 3 & 11 i gave to froch & could have easily gone either way. a draw would not have been a bad decision IMO...

Hunter loves the sound of his own voice. Nothing new here.

I gave Froch at least 5 rounds on his jab alone. Kessler hit Froch with some mean shots but Froch ate them mofos as if Kessler was tossing g****s at him. There was never a point in the fight where Kessler had Froch in trouble for more than 30 consecutive seconds. Froch won at least 9 rounds.

Froch has home field advantage LOVELY right now. He can finish his career out right there in the U.K. making a few million per fight. Only B-Hop should get him back to Vegas for at least a $4M guarantee.

This is pretty spot on to be fair. I actually like listening to both of them for the most part but there's no doubt they love listening to themselves. Teddy Atlas is the same way. The way him and ****m act in the corner, it's almost like they think they're playing a trainer in a movie at times.

the thing is, there were points on in that fight where froch was getting more credit for withstanding a hellacious kessler bomb (and to be fair, he showed an amazing chin), that kessler actually got for throwing it.

the narrative was more - "wow, froch walked through that, that must be affecting kessler mentally for his shots not to have an effect" rather than "wow, what a great shot from kessler".

That's crazy and it's wrong. Froch won and this the only opinion I have read saying Kessler deserved a draw. I don't think even Kessler thought he deserved a draw.

Big crock of **** here from the normally very cool Hunter. But then again, after some of the nonsense he spewed after Amir Khan barely got past a shot Julio Diaz, what do I expect I suppose...

he had it a draw? hurry up and give that man a Nevada, California or Texas judge's license -- he'd fit right in....
