Comments Thread For: J'Leon Love Fails Drug Test, Team Rosado Respond

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has informed krikya360.com that J'Leon Love (16-0, 8KOs) tested positive for Hydrochlorothiazide in the aftermath of his ten round split decision win over Gabe Rosado (21-7, 13KOs), which took place on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bout was the opening contest on the Floyd Mayweather-Robert Guerrero Showtime pay-per-view event.

Keith Kizer, Executive Director for the NSAC, says a complaint for disciplinary action will be issued. It is expected that Love will be suspended for several months, fined, and his win over Rosado will become a no-contest.

lol he came in at 179 lbs for a 160 lb fight..... So I'm not surprised, he had to cut the weight somehow.

But at least his 'win' will get reversed to a No contest.

It was caught by the commission? Wouldn't they have OSDT for this fight?

He's having a great week and a half. Gets punked at the weigh in, gets dropped during the fight, gets booed and laughed at when he got his gift decision win and now he disgraces himself by failing a drug test. Lol
