Watching a fight at a movie theater

Has anyone ever watched a fight at a movie theater? What is it like? Was it packed?

I called down to the local movie theater here and they said tickets were only 12 bucks so I picked up one, I never give my money to Floyd but I think it might be a good experience to watch a fight on a huge screen with other fight fans.

I never did that but definitely would like to in the future. Should be a cool experience watching a live fight at the movies on a massive screen.

It was fun but no Alcohol. this is better right here:

most bars will only charge a $15 cover fee to get in

First time I went was for Mosley vs Mora. It obviously wasn't packed but it was pretty cool watching it on the big screen. And who said no alcohol? I'm pretty sure you can figure out a way to sneak that in there .

Some people don't like it cause "you can't go wild" but when I went I didn't give a crap, I was going nuts in there.

PS I think it was Mosley vs Mora. It was whenever Canelo fought Baldomir.

Yeah bro i was worrying about that, I like to stand during the fight cause I get so into it. Don't want people to be telling me to sit the F down so I might go in the last row.

I watched fights at the movie theaters plenty of times starting with Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins ll. Anyway it's cheaper to go to the theaters, but the only draw back is no alcohol. If I had a choice between a bar and the movies; I'll pick the bar any day .

It would be fun to watch a fight at a theater in 3D.

If those people are into it guaranteed they'll be up too. But the last row is a good idea. Or just make sure you sit in a "staggered" position.

I have a feeling the next Froch fight might be screened at the Odeon here in the UK.

Might go just for the experience. The thought of seeing Froch or Kessler or both with extreme close ups of their bloody faces thirty feet high is a little off putting.

Sometimes they do let you get spirited at the cinema, I once saw the Prodigy at the Odeon and by halfway half of the viewers were dancing in front of the screen upfront.
