Why the hell do people even like Edwin Valero?

To answer the TS question, it's quite simple, because it suits people's agenda.

It's like those that love Margarito but hate on Berto, Moseley, Peterson (and the other way around).

Same with those who love Wlad's defensive/safety first approach but hate Floyd for it (and vice versa).

Way of the world on here. People will use what they can to fit their own agenda, forgetting that they look like hypocrites in doing so.

Two vastly different weight classes with floyd and wlad. Wlad is just a *****, im a huge vitali fan though for some reason lol. I expect heavyweights to do more, dish out more punishment, not stand around doing **** hoping for the outmatched opponent to tire out to jab him into a tko like wlad does. Vitali's loss to lennox(which should have been a win since lennox thumbed him), is more exciting than wlad's entire career. Im such a vitali fan, i bought a vodka because it had his first name lol

Neither did Broner. Absolutely worthless post.

so you're glad the guy is dead and then you say that he had "severe mental issues", so obviously he didn't get the help he need right? If he killed his Wife, then sure he should have had to do his time for that, but people do things and then later regret what they do. Perhaps he was one of them and couldn't live with what he did.

Nope, murdered his wife without a doubt, deserved death but not by his own hands.

Valero was a sicko & obviously had some serious mental issues. I brig it up because its 3 years today that fool killed himself.

I hope he rots in hell that pos.

Manny Pacquiao would have whooped his vanzwaylan ass.
Morales used Valero in sparring for the Pacquiao fight ...

To answer TS question, because he KO'd people. Unfortunately, thats what boxing is nowadays. If you are exciting, that alone makes you heir apparent. There were ppl saying he'd dominate PBF. And I wouldn't be so sure he beats Broner, I understand you guys hate him, he is overrated but sheez...

Hang on, he's no better than Mayweather?

He was MUCH, MUCH worse then Mayweather and the purse snatcher.

Quality fighter though, he was badass.

I'd disagree on the Wlad issue.

He had been knocked out/down, what like, 3 times? He knows the deal with his chin so he adjusts his style to protect his biggest flaw as a fighter.

Nothing wrong with that. That's just being smart.

Far as I'm concerned; do what you have to do (short of blatant cheating/foul play) to ensure you get the W.

Valero had the potential to be one of the best fighters in the lightweight division. It's a shame that he mentally ended up that bad. He was a pressure fighter and his skills were very underrated. There are a lot of interviews stating the Edwin used to throw non-stop punches.

His brother is trying to leave the memory of Edwin alive but he already lost 3 out of 8 fights.
