all talk but never realy signed the contract to prove it. why does JMM always keeps his fans talk for him and not prove it in the ring to get it all settled?

NOBODY but Marquez knows for sure what's in his head, so I wouldnt be so quick to label it "fear". The whole idea is just rediculous. Thats the same as calling him a coward..something he is NOT! Hopefully one day he'll either fight him again and shut everyone up on that issue, or he'll be able to give a good reason as to what he's up to.

Well, I don't think JMM is a COWARD. I don't think it's fear of Manny that's stopping him, more like fear of losing everything he had worked for. These guys are proffesional fighters and when you get in there with so many guys who are willing to put you to sleep, the "fear" for your opponent disappears. It's the "what ifs" that makes them second guess. What if Manny beats him? What will happen to his stock? He was a top dog holding 2 belts, what happens if he loses to a fighter who's exploding into the scene where he was dominating? I think it's these insecurities that's stopping him instead of fear for the Pacman.

Now this theory I can accept..its only natural that an established fighter would have those concerns, so yeah, I buy that I do hope though sometime in the future that JMM get's over it, or whatever , and gives Manny the rematch he promised him!!!

I'm sure he will. Might even be a smart move to hold out. Imagine if Manny beats Morales. JMM will cling on him like a rash. Now the rematch would draw so much more people and he might actually get that 1.5 mil that he wanted so much.

too true Mooks...like a rash?? Oh man, thats gross and funny all at the same time (never heard it put quite like that before ) If pac beats Morales then JMM would have no choice really but to face him again..other than fighting Morales or Barrera he is pretty much out of choices, and in that situation (Pac beating Morales) pac would definately be the man to beat.

you may be right in sayin' only he knows his own reason. but that means he doesnt care no matter what his fans and other people would think about his action. but as far as i know he explained why, it was coz he holds two belts. and since it already came from him, we're just not in the position to say he got other more reasons behind arent we? now based on his reasons he made why he deserves the $1.5M purse, we all know that it's just too impossible. and like he said to the media he has a responsibility to his fans and to tv viewers that the fight must go on. where was the responsibility he's been talikn about? conclusion, JMM showed how irresponsible he is, how he care less for the fans, fights only for the money, has no interest in proving he's better than Pacman and most of all, in general, he defenitely look a lot lesser fighter than Pacman. now please tell me am wrong. peace.

Well you said it yourself, that JMM claimed that he wanted more money cause he has 2 belts. I was simply not chalking that up to fear the way you did.
Mooks said it best on this thread...if JMM is afraid, then it's of whats on the line and what he has to lose..it's not fear of Pac per say.
And, as Mooks also pointed out (what do you know, he's good for something ) if JMM waits til Pac fights Morales and pac wins (that wont happen either) then JMM has a better chance of getting the money he wants.
I thought this disagreement was over him being a coward, and afraid to fight Manny?? That is the post of yours that I replied to anyway
