Manager Alex Morrison has confirmed that former champion Scott Harrison (27-2-2, 15KOs) is going to face super featherweight John Simpson (24-9, 11KOs) on December 1 at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, Scotland. The fight will be Harrison's third since June 29th, when the boxer returned from a layoff that began in November of 2005. Harrison was dealing with numerous legal issues, prison stints and substance abuse problems.

Simpson admitted after his last fight than he's a "small super-featherweight" so I'm slightly surprised he's moving to 135, not that I expect it to be for any more than one fight.

Morrison's obviously tabled the fight and Simpson's said, "I'll have that." Harrison has looked very beatable in his first two fights back, and Simpson's on a roll. Should be interesting. I got Simpson outworking him, possibly rocking or dropping him late on.
