Comments Thread For: Donaire is Ready For The Southpaw Style of Nishioka

Toshiaki Nishioka is 36 and hasn’t fought in over a year, yet Nonito Donaire knows better than to expect anything other than the type of fight the accomplished Japanese southpaw’s resume suggests he’ll give Donaire Saturday night in Carson, Calif.

“We have been training really hard for this fight,?Donaire, 29, said. “We don’t want to take any chances at all. I believe when we are at this level and at this age, and even if he hasn’t fought in a while, he can be very dangerous.?br />

I would certainly hope he's ready. Nishioka is a very live underdog IMO. Rooting for Speed King and Mile High tonight.

Nishioka boxes in circles moving to his left for optimum angles to land that lazerbeam staight left and away from Donaires own

Then he is in trouble. Nishioka is gonna avoid that for sure.

Nishioka can box, Donaire tries to lay out fighters in the early rounds and gets careless. For some reason im leaning towards a Nishioka decision due to the fact that he has been at this division longer and he boxes better then Donaire and can out point him..
