The first few years I started following boxing I was very attracted to the classic boxer style who like a matador used his opponent's aggression as his own demise, I loved watching the defensive wizards of the time pulling their defensive maneuvers in a split second to make his opponent miserably.

As the years passed I decided to take a shot at the only sport that drives me, I learned to appreciate the toughness and perseverance of the brawler who takes his opponent best shots but later breaks him with his sheer will.

I still appreciate the different styles, but I must admit that as a hardcore fan who sees every televised boxing card around the world every Fridays and Saturdays(sometimes in the middle of the week) I always look for excitement and the unexpected. So when I see a highly touted prospect dominating the entire half of the fight only to succumb to his opponent' toughness and will is a sight to behold, and one of the reasons why I love the sport.

I find neither of those choices satisfactory.

Which one? If I remember correctly the first one was good and the other two were one where they were tired as hell by the mid rounds. Only thing exciting about them was the knockdowns and the dude that went flying in like a dumbass.

1 good & 2 mediocre fights hyped up into something that's not true. This is coming from someone who liked both of them dudes too.

Blatantly a Klitschko related thread, as per the usual from JAB

Are you going to whine or would you like to debate my points? And no this isn't Klit related, but a shutoff from another thread discussing why the ENTIRE heavyweight division as a whole is boring. The question is applied toward ANY weight class though.

Yes. and he's right its about them, wlad specifically.

Its one thing to see the smaller or less powerful guy box a bigger stronger brawler, Its another to watch the bigger guy box a smaller guy, esp at HWT, ie wlad/Haye.

Visually,it doesn't look like wlad is boxing with skill, he looks scared to get hit in the jaw.
