Nonito's a good fighter but if you take away his left hook, you'll go the distance. flyweight Omar Narvaez exposed that.

from what i've seen of Mathebula, what isn't much, he gets tagged with the left often.

I'm not taking this fight seriously at all. yeah i know Mathebula has a title but that doesn't mean much anymore. Nonito should win easily. if Mathebula doesn't block the left, it's good night Mathebula. if he does block the left Nonito wins by a wide UD.

Mathebula doesn't have the power or output to win on points.

I think Narvaez was the 1st guy with some boxing skills that Nonito fought. most of his earlier oppenents were come foward fighters like Tysonsito Marquez and Darchinyan. I think he gets frustrated when he can't land it.


I was looking for a KO highlight reel but this is the closest thing I could find, without actually putting much time into it.

99% of the stoppages are from monster left hooks.






I think Mathebula is going to get rocked and taken out soon.

he couldnt land much of his big shots that he wanted against Vazquez and got a bit frustrated...at times trying to taunt and lead his vazquez in with lowering his defence.
still a great boxer nonetheless. not taking any credit for his achievements

All Mathebula got going for him is height and reach. Other than that, he's outnumbered 100 to 1.

Donaire has the skill set but tries to force too much when he's frustrated. he's a good fighter but would get killed by Rigodeaux, a patient counter puncher with power totally undresses Nonaire.

Chemito Moreno probably gets an easy UD against him.

saying all that Nonito basically cleans out everybody else. Mares and Arce would be get KOed.


I'd like to see Donaire challenge himself and face Rigo or Moreno, if he beats either of those guys I'd believe the hype
