whats up with these young rican champs trying to cherry pick old mexican fighters? He tried to do it with arce. Lopez with salido. But I wouldnt be surprised if marquez koed him, if arce did marquez is more than capable.

Eh, isn't it the other way around with calderon? First Segura, now this kid Fuentes. They're just playing the pr-mex angle while looking for champs. No biggie.

Wasnt calderon the favorite against segura? People where saying he was going to outbox the sht out of the wild segura. And fuentes is a big unknown even for me who follows mexican fighters.

So he wasnt a top featherweight because of a decision loss to gamboa?

I seem to remember salido dropping gamboa and giving him the most competition anyone has.

Well of course Calderon was the favorite, he was an old undefeated champ fighting above his weight but Segura was the classical younger, bigger, stronger challenger. I don't remember the hype for the fight tho. Yeah I don't know who Fuentes is either. Still, good for the rivalry, there's money to be made, that's what it's about.

Marquez is in no way a safe fight for Vazquez. Although Rafael is in the twilight of his career, he still possess the power to stop WV2.
