I know he was pretty good, I'm just exaggerating I suppose. Although I don't think beating him makes you a great fighter. What was his highest ranking in the division or P4P even?

Who? Curry?
Curry was the Lineal Champion at WW. He was in the Top 3 at WW for years.
Curry was an exceptional talent and a very good fighter.
If you're asking about Starling, he was also Lineal WW Champion. He was also at the Top of the WW division for years.
Starling and Curry are two of the best and most accomplished WW's of the 80's.
Definetly sugar Ray. Manny has to fight Flyd before we even can consider Ray and Manny on the same level. Accept 70-30 or whatever...If you can be consider as the best on the planet why care about money
On paper Pac has beaten double the World champs than Leonard has.
P4P ranked fighters that Pac defeated.(ring ****zine.
Barrera
Morales
Marquez
Cotto
Leonard defeated (KO ****zine)
Benitez
Duran
Hearns
Hagler
Pac title fights wins equals 15.
Leonard title fights wins equals 11.
Not counting lineal championships, and divisional titles.
This proves on paper. That Pac is greater than Leonard.
So therefor in reality it's close.
at the time Leonard was fighting there were only 2 titles (3 when he returned from the retirement for Hagler)? Nowadays there are 4 titles, plus interim titles, super champions...
