Because of this, the fight was more exciting and Cotto was able to win 2 rounds as opposed to none. I don't watch Mayweather fights to get excited, I watch him to shut people out and outbox them. He showed in the first 4 rounds and the last 4 rounds, that his legs are fine. He was moving and outboxing Cotto pretty easily from rounds 9-12, if you really have no legs anymore, you can't move like that in the 9th, 10th and championship rounds.

But please, do not make this fight. I rather see Mayweather vs Canelo or Martinez. But neither of those fights are possible for 2012, since both fighters have fights in September. Floyd's options are very low.

Cotto vs Pacquiao is another fight that should not happen. Since Cotto will be forced to come down from his comfort zone of 154 and be weight drained against the catchweight king.

^^^ This. Especially the bold part.

Floyd has a chance against anyone because he knows how to win but at 154 I don't see him beating Sergio Martinez. Floyd is too small to fight at 160. He only weighed 151 against Cotto. Martinez is a problem for Mayweather.

Nobody with any sense is calling for a rematch... but the promoters of course! Floyd ain't gonna fight Cotto again.. and even if he did he'd probably bring him down to 147 this time and just outbox him easily...

No way Mayweather would want a rematch, he thought it was a easy fight, easy money, Mayweather would fight Pac before a rematch with Cotto...

Get the **** off Cottos nut sack already!! Cotto won like 3-4 rounds. Did you watch the jose Luis Castillo VS Mayweather fight? That was a close fight, guess what happend to Castillo in the second fight? He got dominated for 12 rounds. Cotto would get dominated or KO if Money fights him again.. Cotto is just trying to get his last millions before he retires but there is no reason for a rematch!! Cotto should fight Canelo and thats it..

No need for a rematch......floyd has nothing to gain fighting Cotto again.
              He beat the guy 9-3.

Mayweather vs Pacquiao or just retire.

Why make the fans pay for the fight again.
All Floyd would do is win easier.

I would pay for a rematch if i thought cotto could win but..........he will never beat Mayweather.

              Mayweather vs canelo
              Mayweather vs Khan
              Mayweather vs martinez
              Mayweather vs Chavez jr

And to sit there and say that the fight was close is a con job to try and sell a rematch.
I know what i saw and that fight wasn't even close.

I think Sergios legit chances against floyd are 50/50. I dont see those chances wth pac, cotto, or canelo. Laras always a wild card.

Stop....Floyd has nothing to fear fighting cotto at any weight.
                  Your just trolling

It would sell well and they would make money off of it, but the results would be the same. Floyd gains nothing legacy wise from beating Cotto a second time. He already fought Cottos fight and fought him at his weight and gave him the gloves he wanted, cotto had everything in his favor and still lost by a wide margin.

Cotto need to fight Alvarez 1st before a rematch and I'm 99.9% sure Pacquiao vs Marquez IV is done for Nov
