    What Athletes from other sports do you feel could have done well in boxing?

    Obviously chin theory aside.. Let's just assume they all have good chins..

    For me it's Allen Iverson of the NBA. He looked like he could have been a very very good middleweight.


    Cristiano Ronaldo would have been the greatest Super Middleweight of all times imo.

    Cristiano Ronaldo if he started boxing at age 10 would knock out Lucian Bute.

    Ron Artest - obviously would be a heavyweight, he's got the blank eyes of a fighter. he one of the few i know could hang without a doubt

        A random college football player name Seth Mitchell broke his knee cap or some shyt, decided to start boxing at age 25 and is now on his way to a future title shot..

          no in his case it's just his mentality that I know would translate. I remember them asking Oscar about this once and he said Tiger woods of all people.

              I Love Oscar, I knew the interview you were refering to. He was high on **** that day.


              Mentality plays a huge part in it.
              Look at Kobe Bryant. with his insane work ethics and ego, I can see him being a HW Floyd if he started boxing at age 5

                  Go through the list of other athletes who tried taking up boxing only to end up in a reality check. There have been a few and again I will say it's all up to the mental make-up of the guy. For all we know Ray Lewis is a bully who folds the second he gets touched on the chin.
