Alvarez has to beat a Top SWW or two first. If he beat a Kirkland or Molina, the fight becomes more legit. And if he beat a Kirkland/Molina and Cotto, and than it happened in May 2013, why wouldn't it be an alright fight??? Alvarez will have had wins over 2 good Top SWW's by then. It just depends on how GBP matches him after this bulls**t Mosley fight.

The fight is not legit, nor will it ever be. Go on & give scenarios though. Canelo does not deserve to be in the ring with Floyd, at all. 2 fights against guys he should have already fought won't change that. Floyd needs to fight Martinez or go back down to 147. This kid has had nothing but soft touches ever since HBO got their hands on him.
He is about as ready for Mayweather as I am.

The flaws still evident in each performance makes him an easy target for a seasoned pro in his prime.
Saul's footwork is uneven, he throws off balance and his power and chin are still being determined.

A Mosely triumph will prove nothing.

I'm a Canelo fan but he aint ready for the P4P #1 guy...at all. I still see A LOT of room for improvement. I think he needs to really dominate Shane in order for me to even THINK he belongs in the ring with Floyd right now. Even then I wouldn't wanna see him fight Floyd. Money wise yeah it would generate crazy money but it would be an easy W for Floyd.

Canelo needs to continue fighting good competition. Taking an L doesn't mean you suck. He needs to fight guys that'll bring everything out in him.

Anyway, still always pulling for the fam!

I think he was being sarcastic.

With Canelo's D, Floyd would just pick him apart. He can't go from fighting shot fighters to fighting Floyd. Just cause you look good fighting a shot fighter don't mean ****. He needs to up his competition level and improve while getting some good experience.
